Friday 7th

Today we farewelled our first hosts, visited Denmark's first National Park, met our first Mayor (Flemming Eskildsen of Skive) and had our first beer (oh well, most of this is true). Skive is a much bigger town further to the south from Thisted and we will spend the weekend here with our second host families and do some local shopping, take a cruise on Limfiord, visit a brewery and have dinner. Life is tough.  I am being hosted by a lovely couple, retired policeman with significant international experience with the UN in conflict areas around the world and also and a past GSE team leader to Arizona - Thøger Berg Nielsen and his wife Bodil.
