Green Energy and Presentation Day - some photos

seafood lunch

The day was spent investigating how green energy is practiced in Thy. We visited a town heating and cooling plant (an amazing operation where heated and cooled water is piped around the town from a central plant powered by a mixture of geothermal, solar and waste burning.) We also visited a wave energy pilot installation (see video) and concluded the day with our first presentation in Denmark.  I am extremely proud of the team who presented with confidence, a touch of humor where necessary and a warmth which was really appreciated by our hosts.  We are greatful for the hospitality shown by our hosts (lunch was especially nice). Henning and I capped off the evening with a serious investigation comparing and contrasting the medicinal benefits of scotch whisky.  Consequently, we are a little slow this morning.
